Welcome to our collection of Jewish interest books on social history and literature
of Canadian Jews, with a special focus on Montreal and Quebec.

We have compiled a site dedicated to four topics: (i) Jewish Life in Canada, including the early years of Montreal Jews; (ii) World War II history, including the Holocaust & Survivor testimony as well as the Jewish war orphans; (iii) Contemporary social issues, such as Jewish feminism and the Jewish labour movement;
and (iv) Canadian Jewish Literature-with a tribute to A.M. Klein. We have also included a debate on the current state of Jewish-Canadian writing.
